Meet Dr. Biegeleisen
Dr. Biegeleisen graduated from N.Y.U. with a D.D.S degree as well as degrees in Periodontics and Implant Surgery and has been practicing dentistry since 1981. Dr. Biegeleisen was director of periodontics at Staten Island University Hospital for many years. His love of teaching the residents, interns and doctors has allowed him to lecture in many different venues throughout the country. Recently, a major Implant company has selected Dr. Biegeleisen to perform a five-year state of the art implant study on the high tech one-piece implant system. His history has been selected by the New York Times with a full-page write up about his personal life and career [New York Times, March 31, 2011. Page A24].
Throughout his 30-year career, Dr. Biegeleisen has reconstructed the jaws and restored the smile and lives of thousands of patients of all age groups. He loves his work and the opportunities it provides to restore patients’ smiles and save their jaws through implant surgery. Dr. Biegeleisen enjoys helping patients who come in ashamed or embarrassed by their smiles achieve restored confidence and the willingness to smile and laugh.
Born in Tel Aviv to Holocaust survivors, he moved to America with his family when he was six year’s old. Dr. Biegeleisen has always been diligent with his dental hygiene as his parents instilled in him the importance of oral health, even in the most challenging situations. Dr. Biegeleisen believes that every patient deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.
His knowledge and technical expertise as well as his caring staff and calming office décor create an environment that makes the patient experience painless and stress free.
